Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

This is my son's favorite place to eat. We go here fairly often. The food is always mediocre but typically the service is good and if there is an issue the staff is polite and helpful. However there was an issue with our order and when I addressed it with the staff they told me I was wrong and they had made the order correctly. It was just 2 malts and a concrete. There was literally the same thing in all three cups. I am not going to fight with children (the workers) so I just threw the "concrete" away and left.

Very dirty dining area, tables not cleaned well. The bathroom was a lawsuit waiting to happen. The floor was covered in grease and water, I was sliding all over. Service was kinda slow, long line, and only one register was open. The food was good, very similar to steak n' sheak.

Drive through at Edwardsville Il location while passing through the area. The jalapeño burger has an actual bolt in the sandwich. A bolt. I called the restaurant to notify them. I was already down to the Alton exit on I55 so going back was not an option. Stay away from this place!! Ugh...We saved the bolt. I will have my daughter post the photos.

I get simple stuff but I am pleased! I love a smash burger with pepperjack and it was so yummy! The small/skinny fries aren't really my style but the taste is great. My chocolate shake seemed to be on the darker chocolate side which to me, was THE BEST but I could see how its not sweet enough for others. We will be back!

The place was clean and the service was friendly. The girl at the register was awesome, the manager checked on our satisfaction. They have a nutrition guide, but it doesn't have information on the nutritional values of the buns (for those of us who are following the keto lifestyle.) I believe I saw a vegan burger option, though being keto I didn't verify that.
