This is a great little hole-in-the-wall neighborhood restaurant. The food is unpretentious, but delicious. The decor is homey and casual. Service is friendly and efficient. We ordered red beans and rice, shrimp po'boy, fries with debris, stuffed artichoke, and combo fried green peppers and onions. I recommend all of these dishes.

Favorite place in all of New Orleans!! Food is amazing, the most fun vibes. And if you are lucky enough to sit in Rose’s section, you will never forget her!! This is the real NOLA.

Six stars for Mark, the star of the show. Was so welcoming, comforting, sweet; really made our visit very special. We wanted to get a taste of southern food and were not disappointed. Mark provided the southern hospitality that will make this meal a memory. Shrimp and alligator po boys were incredible, as well as the gumbos, red beans, and fried peppers.

My family and I wandered in to find what I think is probably a neighborhood jewel. It had the feel of a pub and the food was good. We had the charbroiled oysters and a cup of the gumbo. The children had chicken and grilled cheese. The artichoke appetizer wasn't for us, but the staff removed it from my ticket no problem. The staff was also friendly with my children. Everyone was full and happy.

Food was incredible, patio eating was good. However, the service was not good. We were ignored after placing our order. The table next to us had the same waitress as us and she checked on them frequently, offered refills, brought to go boxes and was very attentive to them. They ordered after us and were all boxed up to leave before we even got our main food. The only attention we received was when we placed our order, when the appetizer was brought out and then again 40 minutes later when the food was brought. At that time we were offered refills to our empty drinks. When we were ready to leave, I politely asked the gentleman cleaning tables if he could ask our waitress to bring us the check. The only words I got out were “excuse me sir, could you..” without looking up he said, “I’ll tell
