Formosa Chinese Restaurant

I came and got spicy chicken lo mein and another dish. The spicy lo mein was very greasy and oily and there was hardly any spice (devoid of flavor and heat). It also took 35 minutes. Chinese food should not take 35 minutes. When I ordered it the entire place is empty. I'm not sure what the problem is but they really need to pick it up. Chinese food to take 10 minutes max. The young man that helped me look like he was miserable. I imagine I'd be miserable too if I had to work in a place like that until customers that they're really crappy Chinese food would take 30 minutes.

First time here, passing through town. Decided to try this place. I'm glad I did.🙂 The sweet tea is great! Friendly staff, And when the food came. Mmmmm I only wish I would have taken pictures. I was so surprised of the portion size more reasonable pricing .The presentation was amazing ❤️.And the flavor, wonderful. We had combination rice and Cashew chicken. I highly recommen everyone to try "Formosa Chinese" Columbus TX.

Came to this restaurant 3 years ago and it was excellent. Paid a visit today and it was awful. The beef tasted "off" and the bamboo shoots in another dish were literal wood. The fried rice was also greasy and inedible. Needless to say, I won't be back. Not recommended.

Not bad for a small town & hidden a nook. They have a good add on deal which includes soup,egg roll and a butterfly shrimp.

This is one where you don’t know what to expect when you arrive and they will blow your mind with the good flavors !! Recommend if you are passing by.
