Flying Decoy Bar and Grill

The chef and the staff at the Flying Decoy make dining here special. With no obtrusive music to interfere with dinner conversation, there is well-prepared good food with great eye appeal. During our time in Rock Hall we returned twice after our initial visit. Each time the food and the service were consistent. This may well be the top restaurant in the area. It certainly was great!

Flying decoy has delicious, unique food and great service. Their fish is so good! I got the snakehead last time I went and it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. As an environmentalist I love that they have invasive species on the menu (the best way to get invasive fish out of the Bay is to eat them). Their drinks and appetizers are wonderful too. And the service is great. Our waitress was so kind and helpful

Hadca great.dinner with my sister here on Sat December 6th 2025! The atmosphere and food was amazing at a reasonable price! The highlight though was the great service from.our wonderful waitress who was kind attentive and prompt with our food..J didnt catch her name but she had dark hair in braids and was fairly young..some of the best service Ive ever had ! She deserves to be recognized for her outstanding hospitality As for food the Harvest Vegetable Pasta abd Seafood Nachos were delicious ..but the star was the Brussel.sprouts with Gatlic Aoli.it was absolutely amazing and the brussel sprouts were cookex to perfection..give this place a try .next time yiur in Rock Hall

We ventured here as a last-minute idea on a Saturday evening. Reservations were easy and we arrived early - no problem. Our server did a good job of sharing the specials, getting our drinks, apps, and our meals were out quickly. The soft crab special was a bit too short in the pan - leading to it having way too much water. It would have been better a bit more crip. The other meal was steak frit. Very tasty. The apps were the better part of the meal. Fritters were delicious as was the beet salad - though it was missing the goat cheese - not sure what happened there. I would try it again. It was a happening place (the bar was a bit loud, so next time we will not sit so close).
