Chester River Seafood

Update*-5/13/2024* Continue quality visit after visit. Got Jumbo live crabs and they were as good as it gets imo. I am willing to pay$ for the best crabs available as long as I know I’m getting the best. When this place has Jumbos available, they are big and heavy. I appreciate the honesty of you get what you pay for! Keep the monster river crabs coming! Well worth the drive from Delaware. I got a dozen of live Jumbos.. they were heavy and probably the best crabs I’ve had in a while. Also picked up some crab cakes and deviled eggs. Everything was delicious and fresh!

Today 5/26/24 we made our first visit to Chester River Seafood for jumbo crabs. Nice and spicy. They were large and full. Every crab was steamed perfectly. We are western shore folks but these eastern shore waterman did the crabs perfectly. Honorable mention to Rock Hall Landing for making this connection!

We ordered four bushel of crab and 35lbs of shrimp from Chris at Chester River Seafood for a large event in Idaho. Chris made sure everything went flawlessly. The crab showed up at the exact time. Taste was amazing, the service was superb and our event was a huge success. Not only is he the best in Maryland, he is also the best in Idaho!!

This was my first time visiting Chester River, and I'm impressed. My blue crabs and crab legs were big, fresh, and delicious. The customer service was also top tier! I'll definitely be back.
