Fitzgerald’s Irish Pub and Sports Bar

Live music, lots of space, big bar in the middle, lots of TVs with all the games. We were a fan. The Guiness brats were fire, Sheppard pie was good and my ribeye was great(charred edges)- I had the steak leftovers the other day for lunch and it was even good slightly reheated in the microwave at work, if that tells ya anything. We will certainly be back. Oh, and don't forget fried mushrooms(so crunchy and not greasy) and the rueben egg rolls were great!!

First time eating at Fitzgerald's. It didn't disappoint. Beautiful bar and restaurant. Ordered the battered fried oysters. Their fried oysters and french fries were fried in beef tallow. They were excellent and my bartender Jade provided great service. I will be back again.

First visit. Service was slow. Ordered the potato leak soup and got the photo below. Could use a fork for this soup as there was no broth. Like eating mashed potatoes. Didnt eat it. Also got the fish/chips. Barely got a handful of cold fries and three greasy fried fish. Was hoping for much better. Won't be back.

HONEST REVIEW!! I'm from New England where Boston fish and chips are life along with Irish food!! Let me tell you when I say it's incredible fish and chips it is!! I go home for football and food, I live in northern neck now been in Virginia 40 plus years but always home as a ex cheerleader, stopped in tonight the beer ice cold!! Food absolutely on point and the bartender she was incredible and from Jamaica queens NY where i was born small world!! Go try it you won't be disappointed!! 10 stars !! I'll be going often!!

I’ve been here several times over the last month or so and it has never disappointed. Lunch, dinner, mid afternoon, doesn’t matter. Service is top notch. Food is great. Skip NN Burger and come here instead. Plenty of great beers on tap and an enormous bar. Plenty of seating for larger parties and tons of servers to take care of you.
