I was super excited to check out this new Subs place in town. We ordered a large ($16.49) Smokehouse beef & Cheddar Brisket and a medium ($10.19) Firehouse Captain’s Club Sub. But guess what? When we got home, we found out they totally messed up our order. Instead of a large beef & cheddar brisket sub, they gave us a medium one! And they made the Captain’s Club sub into a large one. Not enough BBQ sauce on the beef & cheddar brisket sub and missing vegetables and bacon on the Captain’s Club sub. There were about 4 people ahead of us. It took over 20 minutes for them to get our order ready. There were only 3 staff members, one of whom was taking orders and also the only one making the subs. I’m not sure what the other 2 were doing. The one who’s making the subs keeps getting called while ma

We went to this new dine sub place called Firehouse Subs. They are a well-known franchise in other parts of the country. We went inside and we were greeted by some very nice people, these workers are definitely not traditional vermonters because they are nice and do their job properly. The menu has a great selection, there is fountain soda, different sauces to try and the seating is good. The food is all fresh by the taste of it. The french fries are by far the best ive had, there better than In & Out Burger fries or any fast food place anywhere ive been, they literally dont need dipping sauce but they got a special house dipping sauce for the fries. The subs were very delicious and filling, the wait wasnt to bad but there still dialing in the training too.

My first time ever visiting Firehouse Subs and I was NOT disappointed! The food quality is fantastic, subs are well balanced for flavor and the toppings are fresh! I would advise if you're choosing steak and cheese to eat it quickly otherwise the sub gets really soggy and messy. Prices are a tad higher than most local delis but are in the ballpark. The service and atmosphere here are excellent...please be sure to add a tip for the team...they are awesome!

Firehouse subs wasn't great. We asked about the combo meal and the girl behind the counter seemed to have very little knowledge of it. She seemed unwilling to help much either. As they were they were making the order, We could overhear some confusion and frustration with our order. For the record, we only ordered thd one combo and no one else was in line or ordering anything at that time. There was a girl that we could overhear saying they were trying to make our sandwich really greasy. For a sandwich? Greasy? Why? When we got our order, they forgot our soup. We went up to them and asked for it and they claimed we didn't order soup. We looked at the receipt for proof and we clearly had. They gave just a quick cup of broth with no chunks. The sandwich was just a bunch of meat with tomatoes

I will not be going back to Firehouse Subs. Poor quality for the price. The size of large fry is pathetic - there was maybe 20 fries and we ordered a large to split between three people which was about 6 dollars. The size of the small subs were fine, but the quality of the meat was underwhelming. The tables there were pretty dirty, which is always a turn off. There are plenty of other great restaurants in the area I would go to before coming here again. Service was ok, but they forgot about the added gravy we ordered for our Thanksgiving sandwiches, and I'm glad we checked our bag before leaving because that gravy aided in the increasing the flavor of the sandwich. I would have been pissed without it. Overall wouldn't recommend this sandwich shop.
