FINS Grill & Icehouse

We were able to find seating without much for wait at 4:30 p.m. on a Thursday, outside on the patio near all of the boats. Stephanie came over with the menus and took our drink order. We had the perfect day sunny and warm with a little bit of breeze. They have inside and outside seating available. There were a couple different specials that day and I decided to try the red snapper. One of the others with us ordered a slightly different fish dinner and unfortunately both of them were overcooked all those still very flavorful. Mine came with an array of vegetables cooked which were lukewarm. As you can see from my rating, the service was good, the Margaritas were good and the atmosphere was good for an Island restaurant. Food was good. Atmosphere was fun. Non-alcoholic pina colada was really good! Highly recommend if you go!!!! I got a bacon cheeseburger and it was perfectly cooked, very flavorful. Fried mushrooms had a little too much coating for my liking, but still flavorful. Sweet potato fries were awesome!

We had a fantastic dining experience at FINS Grill & Icehouse in Port Aransas! Everything from the food to the service was top-notch. Our server, JT, was absolutely amazing—friendly, attentive, and full of great recommendations. One of the highlights was the grilled Gulf fish with veggies, which came with yellow and green zucchini, caramelized onions, and a chimichurri sauce that tied the whole dish together perfectly. The flavors were fresh and well-balanced—the chimichurri was a standout! I started with a side salad, which was fresh and flavorful, and instead of a burger (which looked delicious), I ordered the fried fish. While it was slightly on the dry side, it was still tasty. I had such a great experience at Fins! The skinny onion rings were light, crispy, and absolutely addictive. I went with the Port A Burger, and wow—it was a knockout. Juicy and perfectly cooked, topped with fried jalapeños, bacon, cheese, and an awesome spicy sauce that tied it all together. Every bite was loaded with flavor. Our server, Jamie, was fantastic—warm, friendly, and attentive without ever feeling rushed. The whole place had a clean, relaxed, and welcoming vibe that made it easy to just enjoy the meal. Between the excellent food, perfect service, and great atmosphere, this was one of those meals you walk away from already planning your next visit. Loved it!

Fins is always such a high quality place to eat at. Their food is always tasting good, the atmosphere is always cool with the ocean in the background ans the music to the perfect volume. Service is always great as well. Highly recommend when you come to Port A! Thank you Fins ❤️
