Fast Eddie's Restaurant, Ice Cream Shop, and Bakery

We had a great meal here! Susan, one of the owners, was so sweet and helpful! The hot-buttered lobster roll was delicious and the oreo-coffee ice cream was my favorite part. We’re excited to return!

We made a u turn for this place! Recommended by a friend, the food did not disappoint. Typical drive in fried menu. Prices are fair and the food is outstanding, prepared fresh on spot. Everything had great flavor. We tried the scallop roll, smash burger, cheese fries and lobster Mac total was $52 (totally worth it!!) even brought some home for my mom to try she loved it too. We did a U turn at the sight of this place - having come from the U.K. this is the kind of legit American experience we were looking for. We’ve been to a lot of places that try to replicate this atmosphere and fail because they’re too plastic. Fast Eddie’s feels real and traditional. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food is absolutely reasonably priced. There’s a great selection of sodas and the food was quick, piping hot and tasty. If I were local I’d come again and again to try different things on the menu. Here’s wishing Fast Eddie’s continued success in the future.

The clam strips were gross. They’re heavily breaded and barely have any clam meat in them. They’re the same garbage that you get frozen at the grocery store. Fries were good. BLT was ok. Was hoping more from this local spot.

This is an AMAZING place! Talk about an all American, plus fantastic Vermont, experience. We had a maple softies and will go back for the seafood, which appears to be plentiful and fresh! It is on the side of the road where you order from the window and eat outside under a tent. . .at least in the summertime. I do not know about winter. The service was very helpful! The grounds and the parking lot are very clean. The customers (families, bikers, passersby, etc) were all friendly and courteous. . .it was just FUN!!!!! Cannot wait to take guests and ourselves back there!!!
