Estillville Properties

We were in the area to pick up a new puppy, and decided to make a mini vacation of it, by staying two nights. We’re so glad we did!||The house is amazing. The attention to detail and selection of antiques and furnishings is truly impressive, without being overwhelming. Cameron, Mark, and their son Calvin were consummate hosts. ||We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would not hesitate to stay here again.

This bed and breakfast is really nice the rooms are perfect for individual rooms you have a small refrigerator,you have your own bathroom and shower and has wifi,the house is old and seems to have alot of the original building materials but just been redone and looks really good,nice cozy and clean good for a short stay or a long term stay

This place is amazing! The historical home feels so warm and welcoming, with gorgeous decor, the whole atmosphere was like going home after a long time away. Breakfast was excellent home made, like going to Grandma's house. The hosts were exceptionally wonderful, an experience you could never get at a hotel or Airbnb. I had never stayed at a Bed and Breakfast before but will always look for them when traveling in the future. 💯% wanna go back.

Cameron and Mark (and Calvin) are wonderful people and we are so glad we stayed at their B&B! Breakfast was fantastic. Cameron even brought coffee to our room for us to enjoy before breakfast was served. How very nice! The B&B has a nice vibe and is decorated with antiques and interesting items. Room was very clean and maintained well. The other guests were very nice and we all engaged in interesting conversations. Would definitely recommend others to say here. We hope to revisit in the future. Only downfall (hence the 4 stars) was the look of the neighborhood. Bingo hall across the street took up a lot of parking spaces during the bingo night. Some homes under renovation or in disrepair. It didn’t negate the enjoyment of our stay though.

I don’t normally do reviews of anything, but Estillville Bed & Breakfast deserves a 5 star review. Very comfortable and welcoming, and a good value. Both Mark and Cameron were there to greet us when we arrived. Our room was large and comfortable. Mark prepared a tasty breakfast and we enjoyed the conversation with both Mark (Cameron was at work) and guests. Gate City was quiet when we arrived Sunday afternoon, but we did find a good Mexican restaurant within walking distance. If our travels take us to the area again, we will definitely be repeat customers.
