This is an absolute hidden gem in Stamford! Their menu has something for everyone and the offerings are delicious which makes it hard to decide what to eat! Upbeat atmosphere with great service and reasonable pricing. They were so good they actually gave us a plate of freshly made donuts for the table. A wonderful dining experience.
If you’re looking for a place to enjoy a great meal with your family, Elm Street Diner is it. The food, service, and atmosphere are all top-notch. The desserts are next-level — massive, over-the-top, and perfect for sharing. It’s not just a meal, it’s an experience everyone will love.
I would definitely return to try something else, but I will say it's alittle hyped up from what it should be. Whenever food looks really good, I always question the taste/flavor. The waiting area is heated as you get closer to the entryway, so that was a plus. The wait was not long. We had 4 or 5 parties in front of us. We were seated in about 10min at the bar. I ordered the Candy Land Mimosa, peach Bellini, breakfast tacos (with chicken and french toast bites), and the birria breakfast burrito. The candy made the mimosa taste much better. I figured it would be tasty due to them adding cranberry and pineapple juice, but it was not. Maybe they needed more juice. My friend enjoyed his bellini. He also enjoyed the food. For me, the tacos could have tasted better. The French toast kind of tast
Elm Street Diner is such a fun, over-the-top brunch spot in Stamford. The portions are huge, the presentation is wild (in the best way), and everything tastes just as good as it looks. Whether you’re going for one of their loaded milkshakes, pancakes, or savory brunch dishes, you’re definitely leaving full. The vibe is energetic and perfect for a weekend brunch with friends. A Stamford staple for a reason.
A 4 star rating is appropriate. It carries great ambience and the staff was great and provided great service. I ordered the vodka chicken parm and the pasta was a bit overcooked, the sauce was great but the chicken was a bit tasteless. There was a lack of natural juices as they only had processed ones, however the menu was impressive composed of dozens of dishes. Overall, would come again but hoping for better food next time.
