El Vaquero's

Visited this location this past Thursday with a group of 5 and will avoid this location going forth. This was my first time visiting as I had heard great things regarding the food and service and was extremely disappointed. Extremely slow service combined with continuously having to ask for basic things while the waiters congregated at the front started the experience off poorly. Additionally, the food was lackluster compared to other Mexican options in the area. Drinks were great though.

Let’s just be clear when you’re going out to eat you’re not going out to eat at the fastest serving restaurant you’re going out to eat at the highest quality restaurant just like this one and as far as fast they’re pretty damn fast. I highly recommend you eating at this restaurant the food is delicious. The service is perfect. The waitresses are very respectful a great atmosphere. Disregard the negative post. You read about this place. Those people probably wouldn’t be happy if they ordered a ham sandwich and got ham on it.

Service was great, friendly, everybody trying to help. Got fajitas, great flavor, slightly overcooked, and portion could have been better. I'm picky about rice and beans, but these were good. Pico was fresh and the house hot sauce was perfect.

I’ve never had a bad experience here. Every time we are in town, we make sure to stop by. Their vegetarian quesadillas are amazing. We are usually served by the same person and he is always very polite. This is one of our favorite places to eat.

I've been going to El Vaquero's in Sylacauga for years and their service and food is always top notch. I usually always get the #44 or #56 (spicy burrito or steak burrito.) Never once have I've been disappointed.
