EL Tacazo

Since finding this place, we have gone every week! We buy a pound of birria to make our own tacos at home for one day of the week and LOVE the taco Tuesday deal! We love being able to support a local restaurant and are so glad we found this place! It has become a staple in our weekly meal plan. Changed from 5 ⭐️ to 4⭐️ because we have only successfully gotten tacos with no onion once out of the 10 times we've ordered.

Very intimate atmosphere and nice dining experience! Was wonderful for a nice Friday lunch with my wife! I ordered the beef Barbacoa burrito and she ordered the torta. It came with a mountain of french fries! There is also free chips and real homemade salsa that has a hint of garlic and just a little bit of bite that you’ll love if you love authentic Spanish cuisine! Can’t wait to go back for taco Tuesday! 1.49$ a taco?!?! You definitely can’t go wrong there! The Staff was friendly and the food was fresh and came out very quickly.

Ordered a barbacoa burrito and recieved only a couple spoonful of carne asada in my burrito with all rice. They did not even grilled the tortilla like others. I thought they were joking. It's very pathetic when they got the meat wrong and on top of that, only gave you crumbs of meat. Sadly it was to go so it was not worth to make the trip back. I support small family owned businesses but if you're going to cheat your customers, just close your business down.

My husband and I stopped in for takeout, service was super friendly and quick! We placed the order there and they gave chips and salsa while waiting; the salsa was delicious! Food was very tasty and the salsa had a nice spice to it, one being quite hot and I enjoy heat so if you find pepper spicy tread lightly with the salsas. We will definitely be back!

I had the pleasure of eating at El Tacazo in Anoka tonight. The food was amazing with great flavor. Lots of choices on the menu. It’s a hidden gem for Mexican food in the Anoka shopping center. I’ll definitely be back. Sauces were amazing and the traffic of customers was continuous
