El Sinaloense Mexican Restaurant

Tried this place hoping to add to the good Mexican restaurants here at the lake. Giving this place 1 star is a gift only because the beer cold. We should have known to turn away when there was only a 2 top there at 6pm. The waiter could not have cared less that we were there. When he finally showed up to take our order it felt like he was doing us a favor. The queso fondido had the consistency of water. The nachos Texanos was so over cooked the meat could bounce better than a basket ball, not to mention how bone dry it was. There is definitely a reason this place was a ghost town. Run down the road to El Terreno, Cancun or Cilantro, well worth the 2-10 minute trip.

I’ve had equal so-so and good food here. But the waiter we continued to have is enough to never go back.. the audacity is appalling. Almost as if you’re a huge inconvenience. Super sad considering we live on the lake less than 5 mins from this restaurant.

This place has transformed into El Sinaloense but it is largely the same as before. Nicely redecorated and very clean. Food was good and fresh. The staff are much better so far. Highly recommend!

Great new Mexican restaurant in West Lake. Recently renovated, it's clean and cozy inside. The food and service are really good with a great selection of draft beer (and very cold, too!). Prices are fair, and food brought from the kitchen quickly. This is a gem of a place in the Wirtz area.

Ordered the quesadilla's. Came out with a floured tortilla with very little shredded chicken, dripping with juice and a small amount of cheese. Had to ask for sour cream. Was not good at all. Will not be going back anytime soon. Adios
