El Patio

Looking around for some food i found this restaurant. Love the food I got sancocho, mangu 3 golpes ,and rabo. Thank u ladies

I'm a Gringo 😅🤣 Married to a Beautiful Dominican Woman (37 years). I live in RI but visit my relatives here in N.J. My Brother in Law owns and Runs "El Patio" I Love the Authentic Dominican Cuisine. Cooking with Garlic, Cilantro, Lime, Dominican Oregano. Dario puts Love in his cooking and Always wants his Customers to be satisfied. I love Rice, with beef or Chicken. This trip I also had fried Fish. This Restaurant has an extensive menu with Many Dominican favorites. Lucky me. I get to enjoy restaurant Leftovers that get brought home. Im spoiled with Dominican Cooking. If you Are Dominican or just Love the Cuisine. Try out "El Patio" You will enjoy it. Plenty of Parking. Friendly Employees.

I ordered frequently from this restaurant as I believed the food taste and price were acceptable. However, on Tuesday 12/17/24 I placed an order for pick up. When I received my food I noticed there was mold in the tuna salad. (Picture attached). I sent a picture to the restaurant for awareness and the cook/manager denied it was mold and stated the tuna salad is only 3 days old. I explained to him (in Spanish) that what had the appearance of spider webs was in fact mold. My family and I did not eat our meals but disposed of it as we did not have an appetite after experiencing this health concern with the food. I am a local and will NEVER be dining from this restaurant again!

1. The pictures are very misleading. 2. The food is ok. The Pollo Guisado was lacking flavor and on the bland side. The potato salad was ok.

I went to El patio today and ordered a picadera for 8 . They took really good care of me and the food is excellent. Freshly made and full of flavor . They treated me well .
