Bogota Public Library

This is my home library, and it's one of my absolute favorite neighborhood spots. This library's on the smaller side and attached to a neighborhood senior center but because it's nestled in a mostly-residential area, I've never struggled to find street parking. The smallness of the library means the self-service aspect of more modern libraries aren't available. Books placed on hold are kept behind the counter, so one of the librarians have to retrieve them AND check out all your books. I see this as a plus and a minus. Sure, my visits take just a little longer, but it means I have to have some human contact with every visit and that's not necessarily a bad thing. Just came back from "Tiny But Mighty Storytime" for ages 0-3 with Mr. Tommy. Such a nice program! He gave out egg shakers to the little ones & read books & sang songs with movement. He is a gentle man & the kids love him. After the storytime he took out puzzles for them to play with. There's a great wooden doll house in the childrens room & a life size (tho not real) tree in the middle of the room with a bench around it, just the right size for babies who are trying to learn how to stand to hold on to. We had a wonderful time. Thank you for providing this opportunity for us to enjoy ourselves & socialize!

The unique dollhouse has all sorts of accoutrements to keep an imaginative child busy. Did not see other toys. The bathroom is impeccably clean. The size is small, maybe 25% the size of Teaneck library.

Pretty rude front desk staff. Unfortunately, They can care less for their patrons...

The best little library. They have a nice collection of books, especially children's, and host a variety of events for all ages. Such fun events for the kids. The staff here is wonderful. We have also used their passport services and it was the easiest, best experience. Highly recommend.
