Sazon Dona Ramona

Finally…authentic, delicious Dominican food that I don’t have to go into NYC to order. My gathering was such a hit , catering was the best! The pictures won’t do this place justice. It’s the taste of a hole in the wall I missed so much. From their chicharron (fried pork rinds), to classic mangu (mashed plantains) with cheese, eggs + sausage. I’m drooling just looking through my food pictures from them. This review is long overdue. Trey it for yourself you won’t regret it!! Did I mention how friendly they all are? The service was great too!

Ordered Pollo Guisado, rice and beans and some tostones. Chicken was tender and flavorful, beans and rice were literally perfect too, I was craving my mom’s cooking and this really was sooo satisfying. I think the portion was pretty generous but I wish I got more of that chicken it was to die for! The wonderful person who was packing my order was so friendly and nice too! Definitely coming again. Going to try the Sancocho next

Amazing food and amazing customer service. My first time there and they let me taste every meat and it made my decision so hard! Went for the goat and it was TOP TIER! I was going to take it to go but the atmosphere is so welcoming I sat and enjoyed my meal! I will be back!

10/10!! My uncle told me about this place and it did not disappoint. Their food is so good and packed with flavor! Literally tastes like food straight from DR. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. The price is so good for the amount you get!

Delicious Dominican food ! The two ladies behind the counter was nice and the food was good. The one lady was kind enough to serve me a newly made rice and beans. I had the pernil, rice with beans in it, and potato salad. They even provide an outdoor seating as well.
