El Costeño Tex Mex

I found this spot randomly while craving real Mexican food. I’ve tried a lot of places around the area and honestly most of them didn’t really hit the flavor I was looking for. A lot of spots say they’re Mexican but the taste just isn’t quite there. I decided to give this place a chance and the first thing I tried was the torta de milanesa — and wow. Easily one of the best I’ve had in a long time. The bread, the flavor, everything was on point. I saved this place to my favorites right after that. Came back later to try the tacos and they did not disappoint. The tripa and lengua tacos were amazing, full of flavor and cooked perfectly. Don’t let the location or how the area looks fool you. My mom is what I like to call an "🇲🇽Authentic Mexican🇲🇽", compared to me😅. She was born and raised in the heart of Mexico. So she can tell rather or not something is not real authentic Mexican food. But this place is isn't that. They cook and sell real authentic Mexican food. The two chefs are from Mexico and they always serve with a friendly smile. They speak both English and Spanish which works out great when I call to place an order.😆 I definitely recommend this place for a taste of real 🇲🇽Mexican food and flavors🇲🇽😋.

Amazing food and great prices. This gordita was enough for me for lunch. I also got the loroco pupusa, which was delicious. I only took a bite and will save the rest for later because the gordita filled me up. Definitely coming back. It’s inside the gas station, no signs outside that I could see

The food was authentic Mexican food and it was delicious. Definitely a must try if you are around the area!

This place offers a variety of dishes and meals. The first time we got chicken tacos, but the second time I got Birria tacos, and pupusas with a side of rice. The food is a 5/5 it’s amazing, it taste very authentic like a home cooked mexican meal (i’m mexican) At first i was hesitant because its in a gas station, but coming inside you get a very welcoming staff and hard working cooks. The food is great, and I will be coming back to try more :)
