Baltimore County Public Library - Woodlawn Branch

Nice little library with very pleasant staff members. They provide a safe space for teens to hang out. If you have littles 6 and younger - Storyville is perfect! It's honestly so cute and amazing they have that to offer. The kids seem to love it and you actually don't need a library card to enjoy Storyville. The library is super clean and well maintained. A lot of computers and even computers for little ones. They have an area for older kids aged 6-11. The library isn't super big but it's pretty spacious. They offer multiple quiet study rooms as well. I do feel like the actual book selection isn't that big but this library has a lot more to offer than just books!

The library has a developed a lot since I was child. I don't know maybe libraries have always been so family oriented but not having access to one often as a child makes me think it wasn't. Anywho to my review, this a nice and very family oriented environment. There are activities for one from the teenagers to the babies. There is even a cute reading nook that as am adult with tea would be the perfect space to gloss over books at. The staff I encountered was extremely helpful and pleasant. I really have zero complaints.

Very large library. They have alot of computers for personal use. I only located one library catalog look up, which was on the opposite side of the books. Did not have time to do Storyville, but heard it is really nice! Large children’s section with toys and a ton of children’s books. 24 hour book drop off outside near the entrance. Noticed Lego wall for kids and a gaming area.

Everybody is ALWAYS so helpful and enthusiastic! It really makes me nostalgic missing my library days. They keep the desire of reading alive and fun! I love my community library! Even found a friend for my introverted daughter ❤️‍🩹 Special times for Autistic children 😊

The librarian was unfriendly and very rude. She was a woman wearing medical-style glasses and had flipped her badge, making it difficult to identify her. It was my first time at the library, and when I tried to apply for a card, she repeatedly said, 'I don't understand what you're saying.' Whether her behavior was due to bias or simply a poor attitude, it left me with a terrible first impression of the library environment.
