Crab Shack II

Stopped by Crabshack II on a whim, and wow — I’m impressed. The crabs were generous in size and incredibly juicy, with meat that was tender and flavorful without being heavy. We jumped right in, savoring every bite, including the claws, which I usually avoid. The atmosphere felt welcoming, and the staff were friendly, which made the whole experience enjoyable. I did have to wait a little longer than expected for my order, but it was worth it for the quality. If you’re looking for authentic Maryland crabs that deliver on freshness and taste, this spot should be on your list. I’ll definitely be back for more!

Nice and hot! I bought 2 dozen of medium females and they were nice sizes. Some I’d even say were large. The meat was light and airy but not skimpy if that makes sense? We dug in immediately so this was the only pic I could get. I took 1 star because they did not have a lot of roe (my favorite) in them. Idk if that’s because of how long they were steamed or the crabs themselves.. Also, I called in my order 1 hour earlier and still waited about 20 minutes. Other than those things, I will definitely be back. 👌🏾🦀

I just love my Crabshack II they do crabs right. I have been buying from them for at least 20 years. Every time the crabs are the same. I don’t know how they do it. That recipe is awesome. Small, smdium , large or extra large always meaty and good. However, today I ordered the $85.00 a dozen and was very unsatisfied. When said something to the clerk about all that old bay on there she just said it’s the same cook. But when you been going as long as I have, you know the difference. Her attitude was not of one concerned for the customer. I think I’m going to have to go somewhere else. Maybe Nicks.

The crabs were very fresh and meaty! We ordered a dozen and a half of “smeadium” males and they were a decent size. Pricey but worth it for true Maryland crab.

I literally almost threw up, I have never experienced an undercooked crab but that’s what I am assuming was sold to me. - an order of 1 dozen crabs consisted of 4 mushy, and two undercooked crabs, throwing the rest out. First time here and also my last. I always saw such long lines and hoped for the best experience but that’s not what it was for me. I wouldn’t recommend this place.
