À service counter in the back of a quick Mart. Several options available but this is not a full service restaurant so set your expectation. Older gentleman who helped me in the back of the shop was really nice and patient. Ordered nice with grilled pork and a grilled chicken Bahn Mi... Smaller portion and it is what the name says, nothing extra like in a restaurant. It seems to be popular with locals though, because several customers stopped in to get pho soup.
Fantastic service, lovely man working there who has been so kind and shared interesting stories! Their vegeterian pho was phenomenal, as well as their fresh and fried spring roll.
Come here weekly for Lotto tickets. Seems to be the only Lotto machine that always works. Other retailers have b/s about their machine down. Couple that work here are very quiet, but nice. Place is always clean. Lots of locals come here.
Large convenience store with a Vietnamese kitchen. I was starving and went overboard by ordered a tofu bahn mi, pho and what was supposed to be pork spring rolls but ended up as shrimp summer rolls. While the tofu bahn mi was pretty good, overall everything was just ok. The broth wasn't that flavorful and was missing common spice notes. The summer rolls were just noodles and shrimp with peanut sauce. He got a chicken bahn MI and crab rangoon. He raved about the bahn mi, didn't hear much or try the ragoon. I'd come back for a bahn mi, as they're close.
On the corner of broad and canal is the best food I have ever had the joy to consume. The banh mi and pho combo is unlike any other. Take advantage if you are traveling because while they might serve banh mi in your city, the New Orleans French baguette is what makes this sandwich stand out most. I suggest a banh mi and pho combo because the taste of dipping your fresh sandwich in that broth is indescribable. Not enough stars available to rate accurately.
