The best pancakes! I loved the untouched 45 year old atmosphere. I am here for the great breakfast, friendly service and great conversation with the owners and locals. Loved mixing with people from the neighborhood. No one is stuffy or pretentious. You can join in conversation with others in the establishment. The food is hot, delicious and a great price. This is a place only the locals know about. And they've been serving locals for 45 years.

We got an absolutely delicious breakfast here. Service was great and timely and the servings are huge! Pancakes are as big as the plate. I think a little cleaning would do the place some good, but we would absolutely stop here again.

The food was outstanding. The portions are large and the price was low. Unfortunately, it wasn't good enough to justify the hour wait time from when we ordered the food until we received our meals. It's a good thing we didn't have somewhere to go right afterwards. The bill seamed a little higher than expected based on what we ordered, but at that point, I was more interested in going about the day than I was in arguing, so I just paid. Cash only, but there's an ATM onsite.

Need to escape from the tourist traffic and high prices of the center square? Head over to the North side and seek out this quaint little family run diner. Nothing fancy, just a friendly, comfortable spot that serves good food with a friendly smile and warm conversation.

Stopped in while the wife and I were away for the weekend and at first the place does look really run down. However the food was pretty good. My wife had eggs benedict and said they were the best she ever ate. I agree they tasted really good and they use a thin ham that make them even better. The home fries were really good as well. I had the country fried state and it was pretty bland. The gravy was good but the steak was small, thin and a bit flavorless. My eggs were good, the pancakes are huge and tasted pretty good. Biggest plus was the prices. Everything was very cheap so it made up for a lot. All this place needs is some updating to freshen it up. Try them.
