Mountain Laurel Lodge at Jim Thorpe

This place is absolutely amazing, it is top notch- has all possible amenities. The beds are very comfortable and good quality linen on them. The house has plenty of room for large groups or families to spread out and not trip on each other. The game room is fantastic, the sofas on both levels seat many and it is very comfortable. Overall the house is fantastic. Our dog was comfortable and enjoyed it as well ! The location is great, close to Jim Thorpe historic district, close to blue mountains ski resort. It was very convenient for us and it was decorated for Xmas that made it feel special. We spent few days through New Year’s and it was perfect ! You can’t go wrong with choosing this listing ! We loved our stay at Joe’s home in Jim Thorpe! The home was beautiful, spacious and exceptionally clean with plenty of room for our family. Joe provided a lot of extra information regarding the area, activities, services and restaurants. We could not have been more pleased with our stay and would definitely stay here again when we come back!

Gorgeous home!! This property is immaculately clean, spacious, modern, beautifully decorated, the beds are so comfortable, the pillows, linens and towels are very high quality. Our family stayed here this past weekend and we were delighted with the level of detail the owners put into the experience, from the lighting throughout the home, to the games, supplies and appliances. We enjoyed the fire pit, the deck and of course, the main living area with a fireplace and flat screen TV We have been going away as a family for years and this was hands down the most beautiful place we have rented to date. It is very close (about 10 min drive) to downtown Jim Thorpe and so many attractions and activities. We loved it and will definitely be back!

This place is amazing! The beds are super comfy in all 5 rooms! There’s plenty of space to spread out in the great room and the basement with plenty of options for entertainment: books, tvs in every room, firepit, games, ping pong/ pool table, etc. The hosts are super responsive and friendly! We had an excellent stay at Joe's place. It was clean, comfy, and spacious, and we all felt at home there. The homes in this private development sit on large, densely wooded lots, so you will not see or hear many neighbors, but you will see plenty of wildlife, including the occasional black bear. We lacked nothing in the kitchen and bathrooms. The whole house is well appointed in both appliances and furniture. The outdoor fire ring had plenty of chairs and firewood. The entertainment center in the bottom floor was as big, of not bigger, than the one in the main living room. We spent our weekend there biking and hiking, but we all agreed that the place was so inviting that we'd love to come back for a long weekend just to chill in the house and at the fire pit. And Joe was very responsive
