Times House

This bed and breakfast is so charming. And the innkeepers were absolutely amazing. Delicious continental breakfast. Comfortable bed. Well appointed room. And a cozy atmosphere. The fireplace was an added bonus. Oh and there was a puzzle in the main lounge that my husband was obsessed with LOL.

First visit to Jim Thorpe and the Times House was the perfect stay. The location is in the heart of historic downtown and allowed us to walk everywhere. The Nostalgia Suite exceeded our expectations. Just visit the Times House website for the room details. I can't describe it any better. It's all true! Charming, romantic, clean and included all the amenities we could ask for. The Continental breakfast was delicious!! Diane and Chris were such wonderful hosts. We can't wait to revisit. The parking is very tight intown, but The Times House does have a dedicated parking area (for compact vehicles). You do have to climb about 20 steps to get to the main entrance but anyone with disabilities could be dropped off at the front door. Check in was at 3 pm but we were able to access the

Our time spent at Jim Thorpe was a wonderful magical experience. We did not know what to expect and we were above pleasantly impressed. The Times House was perfect place to spend a romantic weekend. Our host Chris and Kevin were great. Chris’s homemade bake goods were amazing. The room decor was lovely and very spacious. We highly recommend a stay here and hopefully will do it again next year to start our Christmas season. Than you Chris and Kevin

The Times House is one of the best places I've ever stayed! The location is amazing and easily accessible to walk to restaurants, bars and shopping. They have dedicated parking spaces which is a rare commodity in Jim Thorpe. The room we stayed in was the legacy suite and it was absolutely perfect. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in and the thoughtful touches that were in the room to make it comfortable are next level. Each morning we had a continental breakfast in our room that was so thoughtful and delicious. We even had a cheese plate the one day. I love that there was a bedside book light, bath salts for the soaking tub, a fan, and snacks and beverages in the fridge. I would highly recommend this place to anyone it was absolutely delightful!

Wow. What an amazing surprise find in Jim Thorpe! Absolutely loved The Times House! Our room was absolutely gorgeous with a beautiful bathroom, plenty of room, and a very, very comfortable bed. Our suite had our breakfast table in-room which allowed for a much more intimate experience. The food in the room was just phenomenal. Fresh made yogurt, fresh homemade granola, fresh fruit. Breakfast in the room was basically a smorgasbord. Will definitely return next time with friends as the location was fantastic, parking was easy, and the common area was quaint and reminded me of a simpler time in my life. I felt at HOME, which is something I rarely do as a traveling professional. MUST STAY. ||We have plenty of pics available. Sorry, we did not post any due to privacy concerns.
