Waitresses are always very pleasant. Food comes out extremely fast and piping hot. Always looks very appeasing and the taste definitely matches.

My husband and I had some business in Bethalto near lunch time. There were lots of food choices. We decided on Eagles Nest restaurant. It is a cafe atmosphere with very friendly employees. Everyone is greeted with a smile. The employees were dressed for Halloween and very upbeat. My husband chose the Hungry Man breakfast and I chose the bacon cheeseburger and fries. Initially I thought, oh I am not sure that breakfast with only 2 pancakes would fill my husband up. Little did I know the pancakes were 8 inches or more. Yikes. Yes, he got through the two eggs, sausage and bacon, but he struggled and could not finish the pancakes! My burger was huge and I barely managed to clean my plate. The meals were great. Food was out quickly! It was delicious. I ordered sausage and egg sandwich on croissant and my girlfriend got a half order of biscuits and gravy. The coffee was hot but breeed conservatively not my tastes but probably the best average brew strength for a small town restaurant

Tried to place a carry out at 11am. Called 6 times and no one answered. Can't rate the food or service since I wasn't able to order.
