Durango Public Library & Durango Botanic Gardens

I love all our libraries in Durango, Bayfield, and Ignacio. So many wonderful things to checkout and take home...classes and groups to keep you busy and a collection of helpful local resources!!!

I was in town for the Durango Blues Train needed a place to get some work done. Wow what a great library! It overlooks the river and if you time it right, you will see the old historic trains go right by. Free wifi, plenty of room. Very nice

Excellent library! Staff are sweet and helpful. Beautiful grounds and next to Animas river. The best looking library I’ve seen in a while. The children’s section is huge. They have wonderful and INCLUSIVE displays. Lots of space and they have study & meeting rooms. WiFi was excellent! Will return if we are back in town.

Best Library on the planet, in my opinion. Rocking chair on the second floor deck is mine! Great place to sit in the sun, listening to the river and daydreaming. Warm even in the winter. Ohhhhhh, they also have books and stuff inside. Thanks Beverley!

Awesome library with a beautiful view on the river! There is a botanical garden and a bookshop!
