Duck Inn Again

Had a late lunch date here with my wife earlier today and we both loved the food and had a great experience dining in. I had the catfish dinner and my wife had their cheeseburger with fries and house made ranch. The food was delicious, hot, fresh, and high quality, we loved it! I ordered the green tomato relish and coleslaw as my sides and they went great with the catfish. We also tried a sample of their pea salad which I will be ordering next time. I'm not normally into peas, but it was awesome! The restaurant itself is clean, well lit, and comfortable. Will be recommending this place to anyone who loves catfish, or is just looking for a great place to eat. Looking forward to our next visit!

The food was amazing! I had the cheeseburger and my husband had the catfish plate! The food, atmosphere and service was outstanding! My husband and I ducked in and waddled out with their caramel pudding. We will be going back again soon!

Atmosphere - very small space with big tables so it felt crowded with only about 10-12 patrons inside. Service - our server was very very nice but did not know much about the food prep. I asked about the potato salad and all she had to say was she'd had no complaints (😆 being day 1, I guess that was true). Food - was not bad and has potential once they all get in the groove of things. I was disappointed that baked potatoes aren't served until 5pm and I didnt recall seeing that on the menu. The potato salad was bland and potatoes slightly undercooked; most of the potatoes in mine were too firm. The fish is good but would have been much better if they had been fried about 2-3 minutes longer. They steamed on the plate so the crispness was lost to the very lightly fried crust. The coleslaw

I stopped at Duck Inn Again to see what all the fuss was about and was absolutely blown away! It definitely meets the hype and tastes like the original if not better, who thought that was possible? The fried catfish was perfectly crispy and seasoned just right, the hushpuppies were golden and delicious just how I remember, and the pea salad was fresh and full of flavor. Everything was just like home cooking should be. The service was excellent, friendly, fast, and welcoming from start to finish. You can really tell they care about their customers. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and great people but most importantly, fried catfish. It's hard to find quality fried catfish these days but there's a spot Again 😉 in Lake Dallas. Can't wait to go back!

Stopped by here today due to an accident on 35 north. A coworker had told me about this place because they served US farm raised catfish. Ordered the regular fried whole catfish I got the green tomatoes relish which was my first time trying but was good with the fried fish like pickles and the fries. Ordered my husband the large blackened fish with a side salad and fries. The food was delicious since it was my first time I didn’t put in any request for how I wanted it fried but I do like it fried hard so next time I’ll ask. The sides are all homemade they even make homemade coleslaw and pea salad. Haven’t had pea salad since I left Waco. The owners are very nice customer service is exceptional and the atmosphere is also great it say small and personal. I saw what I assumed were regulars co
