The lady that took the order was nice and polite but the food was very horrible. The meat for the tacos was suppose to be fajita meat, but looked like grind sausage or something, my friend had quesadillas and that meat was shredded and watery. She asked the lady that took the order what happened and she said it was from them marinating the meat, which didn't make sense. Nice atmosphere but poor food service.

Just visited for the first time and it became an instant new fave!!! The service, food, and laid back atmosphere are all incredible. The menu is very extensive and offers plenty of homemade, authentic choices for everyone. Lacy, our server, was one of the warmest and most genuine people we've ever encountered. Highly recommend, we can’t wait to return ASAP!

Love, love, love this little hot spot! Who knew that such a fun restaurant existed in Lake Dallas. The margaritas are phenom and the chips and salsa legit. When I walked in the door, 3 regulars all said hello and welcomed me in. So refreshing! The atmosphere was a serious party with karaoke, laughs and great chips and salsa. The owner sat with me at the bar and explained that she and her husband and their best friends bought this sweet little restaurant. It’s less TexMex and more authentic Mexican. The restaurant is adjacent to a church, so you can stop off and pray after having a few Margie’s. So much fun! We are the beef tacos (Taco Tuesday special) and a veggie taco salad. Both were great. I will definitely be back and encourage you to try it too.

When walking up I seriously almost turned around to find some where else and let me tell you I’m glad I didn’t! The atmosphere and service were amazing and friendly and the food delicious! 10/10 will be back anytime I’m near!

Had unfortunate meal today...carne guisada...couldn't eat it. Beans were instant, rice was instant, tortillas hard. Queso had an extremely strange flavor. Didn't eat it either. Chimichanga had no flavor and was not cooked all the way through. Took extra salsa to make it edible...their salsa is amazing. So disappointing though....last time I was there was sooo good, one of my favorite spots. But $50 for 2 lunches of poor quality......such a quaint little restaurant, server sweet and fast...but the food...so sad.
