Downtown B & B Inn

This is an EXTREMELY run down old motel. The room smelled moldy and smokey. The carpet was filthy. Don’t stay here unless you are desperate. Hotels in Valdez are very expensive and this run down hotel wanted $130 per night!

The only good I can say is that the room felt clean. Very outdated but clean. The sink and shower water was scalding and took much time adjusting and waiting to cool down. The worse part was the rudeness of the owner. We traveled from a far distance and I called days ahead of time to be sure we could check in that evening and she said that would be okay and to call her cell phone. We arrived just before 10pm with a car chalk full of our son's belonging as he was moving in to college. We called and no answer. We then called about 20 more times and no answer. We then start looking for other hotels/inns but they were all full. By midnight we were exhausted and decided to go back and sleep in the B&B parking lot and took all the belongings out and put them next to the car in order for three of

The rooms are small, they’re not super clean in general but the beds were clean. If you’re checking in on a Saturday she doesn’t open the office till around 5pm, she was very sweet though. You’re walkable distance from most of the things to do and places to go. There’s a brewery right next to the building. The one really weird thing is that there was only hot water, no cold water just boiling hot water.

There are no words. We called early in the morning to make a reservation and upon arrival late at night after driving 9 hours, we discovered our room had not been serviced. The interior reeked of smoke. Room was dirty and disgusting. Go to the best Western.

This hotel would be the perfect place to film a horror movie. It looks abandoned, smells like mold and stale cigarettes, and probably hasn’t been cleaned in years. We high tailed it out of there cause there is no way in hell I would even lay my bags down in this dump. Oh yeah and there’s absolutely no service and the dining hell was full of trash. Run! Run in the opposite direction!
