This has got to be one of the worst run and worst attitude given by workers establishment that I have been in. The workers are so rude and seem to think they are better than their customers. They favor some regulars that come in and know them by name, but this isn’t the case for us or most other customers we witnessed. We stopped in to grab two lattes and a pastry and I can say it was the worst cup of coffee I have had in thirty years (and I’m not super hard to please when it comes to coffee). It was so bad I poured mine out in the grass across the street along with my significant others. I HAVE NEVER POURED OUT A CUP OF COFFEE IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. It was disgusting and a total waste of money. The workers are trying to reinvent the wheel or maybe they just think they sound cool saying the d
I came on the 4th and the atmosphere, though very busy, is still incredibly chill. There was a constant stream and line of peoplz and the baristas maintained a friendly and focused energy. Loving the vibe. The seating and gathering areas are artistic, cozy, inviting, and creative. Thank you guys. ☕ 4 shot Americano is delish !
I can only drink decaf, so that's all I can go by, and this decaf is delicious. It's all I use at home when I'm in a home coffee kick. I've gifted these beans before and they're always a hit (decaf isn't always out, but if you ask, usually someone can make a bag). I discovered my go-to drink here, because the awesome owner took the time to help me out. I wanted the dryer flavor of a cappucino with the volume of a latte, and my beloved quad shot decaf latte with oat milk was born. And now I judge all other coffee shops by their ability to make this drink. The staff is so kind and the vibes are always upbeat and laid back. Lots of seating, and a cute Adirondack area out front. The decor and art are great to look at while you wait for your drink. (There is one machine, during busy times,
we stopped through town to grab caffeine on our drive and were so pleasantly surprised with this spot! I got a chai and it was perfectly spicey, not too sweet and house made and my husband got a yummy matcha! The blueberry muffin was delish and definitely house made too! We loved. Cute lil back porch and plenty of space despite being busy. We enjoyed a walk along the water with our yummy drinks.
I’m so glad we stopped at Downshift. We had delicious half-caff flat whites and ended up buying a bag of beans from how much we liked it. The cardamom snickerdoodle was so good too. Very welcoming atmosphere and very LGBT+ friendly - amazing vibes all around.
