Went there for a date, it was a wonderful experience. Had never been there before until today but I'd definitely go back. It was a bit pricey but we each got two entrees. All the food was divine, high quality and definitely worth the price. The mocktails were delicious too. Around the the end of our meal, we got dessert and to go boxes for our left overs.
I’ve been here 3 times now. Everything is super fresh and delicious. I wish I remembered the waitress name. We had her twice now. She is absolutely wonderful. In my opinion, it’s the best restaurant in Belfast.
Satori is a cozy, consistently excellent Japanese restaurant in the heart of Belfast — a town you might not immediately associate with fresh sushi, thoughtful cocktails, and a refined dining experience, but it absolutely delivers on all fronts. The fish is reliably fresh, the sashimi is clean and delicate, and the signature rolls — especially the Miso Hungry — are well-balanced and deeply satisfying. Their cocktail menu is outstanding, and the sake list includes everything from approachable bottles to premium selections that show they take their drink program seriously. The interior is warm and intimate, with a smart layout that gives every table its own space. The lighting is perfectly tuned — not too dim, not too bright — just the kind of low-key glow that makes a dinner feel relaxed a
Nice ambiance and excellent service. We got the dumplings, spicy edamame and a vegetable roll as our appetizers. Vegetable roll was the star. For our mains, we got a tonkatsu ramen and a vegan ramen. We were very disappointed with the ramen. It was very very watery and didn’t have any flavor. We had maybe 3/4 bites of it and stopped eating it after. Wouldn’t recommend ramen here, and it’s $23 a bowl. I would, however, recommend checking this place out. Very friendly staff and a nice vibe.
Lovely small restaurant. We began with the hamachi jalapeños appetizer and were disappointed by the red meat hamachi instead of the buttery white meat. The speciality roll and sashimi (served on ice) were just fine, but not outstanding. For dessert, we had a pear persimmon mochi cake with a brilliant vegan caramel sauce (made from olive oil, maple syrup and tamari) but the fruit in the cake was hard/unripe. The prices here are like New York City and not justified by quality or portion size.
