A MUST TRY place!!! The ambience is cozy and Romantic. Service is 5 stars all the way! Perfectly cooked stuffed mushrooms and the sauce was WONDERFUL as well! Huge side of flavorful spinach and Garlic. The Cod fish melted on the fork and mouth. The Mediterranean peppers were crisp and great. Out favorite meatballs ever!

More Than Meets the Eye. It's a big room, nondescript pictures on the wall, a modest storefront. It was slow - mid-week, snowy, and a late lunch. Is this place going to be OK? Answer: a resounding YES! The food was excellent! My 90+ yr old mother is a very picky eater. Chicken options were great. My pork chop was big, nicely cooked, moist. The SIDES: We were especially pleased with the sides. Nicely prepared, generous proportions, and complementary to the main dish. [A pet peeve of mine: "sides" that consist of three green beans and a mini-carrot that you get on a salad bar, artfully stacked for Instagram, but wholly unsatisfying.] As for atmosphere - the room is big, tables in standard arrangements. Terrible experience here. Didnt even have to opportunity to sit down and enjoy food. We had a reservation. We had 2 different parties come in after my party. One did have a reservation, but the other did not, and since they knew the people working they secured a spot before my party. We waited 30 whole minutes from the time of our reservation. We even got there early! We were not acknowledged by the staff until 15 minutes after we arrived. Absolutely ridiculous. For some place that has great reviews and has a good reputation, I was incredibly surprised by their lack of professionalism. I hope others have a better experience than i did!

I met a friend for lunch at D'oro and it was the best decision we could have made. I ordered the Orecchiette Pugliese and it was impressive. The broccoli rabe and pasta were cooked to perfection and the fennel sausage added an amazing flavor. The presentation was marvelous! The fresh bread and olive oil with fresh herbs was exquisite. The owner was delightful and made us feel as if we were the only patrons in the restaurant. I can't wait to come back in the evening for an intimate and relaxing dinner. D'oro is a gem of an Italian restaurant!
