Donohue's East

Pleasant low key atmosphere overlooking Main Street. Both indoor and outdoor seating and dining. Nice American menu, priced accordingly for Westhampton. Very nice friendly staff! Enjoy.

I was very disappointed, especially since my friends raved about Donaghues West, and we were all very excited when East came to Westhampton beach. We started with the calamari. It was Such avery small order and you can tell it was frozen I had the Bronzino with a side order of peas. And neither was fresh. My friend had the sirloin and ordered it medium rare. It came out well done and they gladly took it back and brought him a medium rare piece which was so chewy and he did not finish it. And his cream spinach was very runny and not tasty.It was a very expensive and disappointing meal

I checked on line for the menu and saw that it was very extensive and reasonable. At the restaurant I found that the menu was not only limited, the prices were much higher than the online menu. Although my hamburger was good, I think for $23.00 there should have been a slice of tomato included and I believe the steak fries were frozen not freshly made. One person had pork chops for $40.00 which were plainly grilled with two sides one of which was creamed spinach which was watery and inedible. One person had the fish and chips which were good as was the salmon. All in all, Donohue East was a mediocre pub restaurant with 4 star restaurant prices.

They charge $4 for seltzer from the gun. Burger is good, but man. That bill soured my stomach. What a rip. At least give someone the heads up.

Had the nicest lunch on the patio! We had the Cobb salad and burger which were delicious and the sweetest and most efficient server (Bella). Looking forward to going back all year round!
