We had multiple locals recommend this place so we decided to try it. It was our one night out for dinner - we stayed in and cooked the other nights. Party of 4. 3 of us ordered the Sirloin Strip: 2 medium rares and 1 medium. Well...fail. I ordered the medium and couldn't choke it down it was so dry and cooked well done. I had to spit it out into a napkin. The other two were cooked closer to medium well and had no flavor. They picked apart what they could and piled what they couldn't (most of it) on the plate with mine (posted a picture of it). While our waitress was sweet, after she delivered our meals we didn't see her again until we were ready to leave. Good reastaurant with 47 years of experience. Local place with loyal people. We like food and drinks. Worked very welcoming. I will definitely recommend.

They put a lava cake on our check that we did not order or receive. I'll bet they have great lava cake, they don't want to share it. What's up with that we had no dessert. 75.00 $was the price of the meal for two people and we gave a $25 tip. Where's my lava cake that I paid for but did not receive. I hope it was good $8 lava cake. We didn't notice until we are almost home 2 hour trip.😵‍💫🤔🥮👎

We enjoyed our steaks. They came with salad, bread, and a side (I got a baked potato and my date had the fries). The food is great. The atmosphere is good but it doesn't really match the 5 star vide the restaurant is going for. It's got charm though. The service was okay. *DEFINITELY* not 5 star service. When you Google the restaurant, that's the first thing you see is them touting their five star restaurant. If that's the case, the service needs to come up a couple stars. Specifically, don't play favorites with the locals, standing next to our table, smiling and chatting up a local for 5 minutes at a time and then coming over with no smile and being monosyllabic. I had chicken tenders. Some of the worst I’ve ever had, the friedness of it was disgusting and too much. The chicken was hard, clearly been in the freezer for months. The fries were slimy and made me nauseous. I ordered honey mustard and whatever they gave me was something with the most disgusting and disturbing taste and texture.only good part was our server that was very nice.
