The Inn At Water's Edge

My partner and I found this cute inn/bed & breakfast on a whim when planning a ski trip to Okemo. Dare I say the experience at the inn was better than the skiing itself? The hosts Mitch and Joel were both individually so hospitable and personable. Such kind and beautiful humans!! Check in was a breeze and the interior decor was absolutely stunning. The breakfasts homemade by Mitch were top tier, truly better in taste and presentation than any brunch place I’ve been before. We loved having the opportunity to support a locally owned inn that’s clearly run with pride and care by owners whose values truly shine through. Already planning our next trip to Vermont to see the inn and lake during the summer/fall months!

The Inn at Water’s Edge is one of the best bed and breakfast we have stayed at in the Northeast, and we have stayed at so many. Joel’s warm hospitality, Mitch’s absolutely delicious breakfasts, the location of the inn, the cleanliness, the decor… everything was fantastic. Joel and Mitch, you sure set the bar high for other bed and breakfasts. We will definitely be back!

We stayed at The Inn at Water's Edge for three nights while in Southern Vermont visiting friends in the area. We found the inn to be private and quiet, yet welcoming upon our arrival. Innkeepers Joel and Mitch were amazing hosts -- friendly and attentive to guests' needs and interests. Our guestroom was attractively designed, with a comfortable bed, bedding, and a modern bathroom. The layout of the inn provided lots of comfy places to sit in a variety of public spaces. A highlight was the sumptuous breakfast with a sweet and a savory selection served each morning. The personalized small inn service offered a quality experience. We will be returning!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Inn! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed with the warm and attentive service, Mitch and Joel went above and beyond to make sure our experience was perfect. The Inn itself is pristine and impeccably maintained, with every detail carefully thought out to create a relaxing and inviting atmosphere. The food was truly outstanding, beautifully prepared, and clearly made with care. Overall, this Inn exceeded my expectations in every way. Between the exceptional service, excellent dining, and immaculate accommodations, it made for an unforgettable experience.
