Dickey's Barbecue Pit

WOWZER! This place isn't just a restaurant...but a destination!!! The food is delicious and worth the drive! My husband and I have been searching out great BBQ since we moved to Delaware 13 years ago and now we've found our "go to." The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender and seasoned with a nice rub. The BBQ sauce came on the side (we did carry-out) and it's one of the best we've had--great taste. Their pulled pork is also perfection--tender and flavourful. The cornbread, oh my, just perfect--just the right amount of sweetness and texture. My husband loved the potato salad and I loved the baked potato casserole and fried okra. Good bbq. Nice variety of meats, sides and sauces. They also have one of those fancy coca cola machines that you can invent your own drink. Clean place, friendly, fun staff. All around great experience.

I have been coming to this location since they opened. Today I received the worst sandwich I have ever had there and was actually dumbfounded looking at it. I got a Westerner sandwich with jalapeno kielbasa and sliced brisket with 2 sides. My sandwich had two pieces of sliced brisket on it. A $12 sandwich with 2 pieces of meat. This place used to have great value for your money but it's just not worth coming here anymore if this is their product.

Daily specials are the best! Absolutely love this place. Their deal of the day is the way to go. Thursday is the best. Jalapeno kielbasa pulled pork two sides raw and drank for 12 bucks. Can't be beat
