Daylight Donuts & Cafe Hilliard

I love your donuts. But it's quite difficult to talk to someone who does not understand what I'm saying. I only wanted a biscuit with an egg. On the menu it says the biscuit is $2.25 but they charged me for a sandwich which was $7.95. An egg should not cost $5.70. I would not pay $7.95 for a toddler sized biscuit. Look at this bagel sandwich, and seriously tell me that you would pay almost $10.

I ordered their French toast with Berries and a large latte. When placing the order they asked if it was for dinning in or to go, I wanted to eat there. When paying the computer ask you for the tip, with 3 options, 20%, 30% or 40%. The “coffee” was milk with no coffee taste, I had to order a double expresso to add to the milk to really feel the coffee. When the food came out, they serve the french toasts on to go plates. The French toast came out, they were soggy and only had blueberries, not like in the promo pictures. The blueberries felt they were going bad. The service was, after your order, you sit down and they called you once food is ready. I had a Donut and it was good. Would not come back.

The donuts here are amazing, me and my friends come here every day after school. The owner give me and my friends a free donut for every A we have per class which motivates us to better so the owner is making a big impact on us and is very kind. This is my favorite spot to hang out the atmosphere is such a vibe.

I had donuts delivered and I was impressed. The price point was high because of delivery - but so worth it! I ordered early and had a wonderful array of mixed donuts delivered. They were decadent and delicious! I don't eat donuts often, but the next time I let myself give in to the craving, I know where they'll be coming from!

Don't let the name fool you-- Daylight Donuts has some of the best pizza in Columbus! Everything is made from scratch and the crust is perfect. Definitely try the maklouba (crust on top and bottom) and add harissa if you like spicy food. My friends from Algeria all say the pizza here tastes just like home. The staff is amazing-- keep up the great work! :)
