Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

Glad they are open after 9pm for us travelers! Long lines at the outside windows for ice cream. Inside was unbearably hot and tables had not been wiped after ice cream made them sticky. The staff was friendly and working very hard to get everyone served, but I felt they were severely under staffed. The coney dog was very good, the cheese curds were excellent, but the chicken sandwich and chicken strip basket with fries were all flavorless and tired. Probably a better location for ice cream rather than food.

Well ..it was disappointing. We ordered food and my ice cream brownie chunk came out like 15 mins before the food. So I had to eat it (or it would have melted) when I didn't necessarily want to eat the dessert first 😔🤷 The food took forever to cook. There wasn't a huge line in front of us either. The wait was pretty dramatic 🙁 food was average. The outside seating was nice however we didn't want to sit down bc all the tables were gross and covered w old ice cream spills. Great location for walk ups.

Ordered dinner for the family. After waiting about a half hour, received our food drove all the way to the hotel and didn't receive all of our food. So inconvenient. Asked for ranch for our large cheese curds, was told no. No sauces. Not that it matter because no cheese curds were in the bag. The burger meal, we didn't get either. Called multiple times and no one would answer the phone. Driving back up there. Will see how that goes.

I never rate things, but this deserves it. The girls who run this place work HARD, and it shows. Me and my mom went when the place was swamped—they still have an older register, and were writing all the orders by hand—yet the food still came out in a timely manner; but there's more. We went and took our food outside to eat, and when I say I have NEVER seen more care put into the quality of my food, I mean it. They wrap everything neatly, the presentation so pristine I don't know what the other dairy queens are doing. Maybe I'm weird, but I very much appreciate the care they showed. I hope they do well :]

Good food. Very very poor service, staff seem like they definitely have somewhere better to be. Not to mention we had to wait in line for 5+ minutes
