Brigadoon Bed & Breakfast

We had a wonderful stay. All the staff were helpful, professional, and friendly. We had a beautiful view of the lake and the location allowed us to go wherever we wanted to go on foot. The room was super comfortable, clean, so luxurious and yet cozy. My only suggestion would be to let people choose from what is being served at breakfast instead of bring the full plate. In our party of 3, it was too much food and we all liked different things. A lot of food went to waste. It was not a problem for us. We just felt bad for the chef who worked so hard. We will definitely stay again and highly recommend. Thank you 😊

What a wonderful place. From the first time we talked with them until or checkout, they were super friendly and accommodating. We arrived early and since I had no hair dryer from the previous motel, I asked if they had a hair dryer I could use before we set out to Mackinaw Island. She searched for one until she found one. I was very grateful. When we checked in later in the day, we were given info on breakfast and dessert and times (they were also written on a chalkboard in the lobby). She took us to our room on the 2nd floor. No elevators. The room was amazing, although the king size poster bed was right in your face as you opened the door. It had everything we needed. We had a wonderful stay. I can't say enough about Monique, Althea and Romaine who were so warm and friendly and concerned about our every needs. Everything ran perfectly. The food was great and evening dessert was a nice sweet touch. It was a quick 2 block walk to the ferry. Also shopping and choice of restaurants starting about 2 blocks away. The B&B had an old world feel and look, so quaint. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Brigadoon Bed & Breakfast in Mackinaw City! From the moment we arrived, Monique and Althea—the amazing duo—along with their wonderful support staff (Romaine and Harold and more!) made us feel so welcome and cared for. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and very accommodating. Each morning we enjoyed delicious, plentiful breakfasts, followed by warm cookies in the afternoon and indulgent evening desserts! Such a treat! Their hospitality went above and beyond when they helped us plan a stay at their sister property, the Bay View on Mackinac Island. When we returned from the island past check-in, they had already moved our luggage into our room and had everything perfectly set up for us. That level of thoughtfulness was truly phenomenal. Beautiful house, nice room and bed, very close to everything (it's a small village). People very welcoming and warm. As a B&B, the first B was great. The second B (breakfast) has a lot of room for improving. Beforehand I told them NO cinnamon. On our three days stay they served one plate, same fruits always (a slice of watermelon, a slice of orange, a slice of cantaloupe and two grapes) and changed some french toasts, or some thing with eggs and two small pieces of sausage. and ALWAYS something with cinnamon. NO replacements. In Michigan there are a lot of apples, berries, etc. They could make some pies or at least change some fruits, offer some yogurt, and/or cereal as an alternative for the cinnamon rolls. Nothing unless I asked for a toast, that came with a plastic enveloped marmalade.
