Sweet Spot

I would choose this ice cream shop over the others in the area. They have around 50 flavors (some are seasonal), and they make waffle cones daily. I asked where they get their ice cream and an employee told me that they make most of their flavors there, that's why they are creamier and specialty flavors. They also have taffy, jelly belly, and so many packaged candies. They have chocolates and truffles in a case. The staff were very friendly and very polite.

A Sweet Spot Mackinaw City Sweet Spot is absolutely delightful! From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed by vibrant colors, the irresistible smell of fresh treats, and the kind of service that makes you feel right at home. I tried their handmade gummies and chocolate brownies — absolutely delicious! Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and clearly made with love. You can feel the passion and care in every detail, from the decor to the way they treat their customers. Perfect spot for a gift or just to treat yourself. I’ll definitely be coming back. The Sweet Spot Ice Shop had so many different ice cream flavors (some I have never heard of). All the flavors we tried we really good. The store gives very generous portion sizes and the staff are very helpful and friendly!

The staff is very nice and accommodating, the store is very clean. They have 76 flavors of homemade ice cream - it’s almost too many! We got waffle cones with chocolate peanut butter and mackinaw peanut butter fudge. We got a single and double scoop, they were both generous sized. The ice cream was smooth and creamy with abundant amounts of peanut butter, chocolate and fudge in our flavor choices The two cones were a little over $13.00 which seemed reasonable when compared to the other ice cream prices. We would definitely get ice cream here again.

Decent ice cream while in town. The staff didn’t know much about the flavors. I asked what was in a certain flavor… they pulled the tag and held it over the counter. Didn’t know what kind of nut was in a flavor. Tourist town ice cream shop.
