Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

Positives: the food was good, fresh and hot for a very good value. Negatives: restaurant lobby needed cleaning, cashier was not friendly, peanut butter sundae had very little peanut butter and the ice cream was a little off (not just my opinion but the other three with me as well). It seemed more like whip cream than ice cream. First time that's ever happened. We'll be back as we always enjoy DQ.

The local owners just spent quite a bit of money giving one of the oldest restaurants in Rabun County a new facelift which added a drive-thru. A few years ago this restaurant what's on the chopping block in just a few days from permanent closure when a local entrepreneur came in purchased the then struggling store. It has really rebounded, especially in the summer months

Food was mediocre, the girl at the register couldn't find the blizzard flavor I wanted and answered a personal call on her cell phone while we were trying to order. She didn't give a receipt to be able to get our blizzards later and then tried to give us an ice cream we didn't order. Bathroom was bad, there was standing water in it and just dirty.

Went tonite to get the reeces blizzard. This is what I got. Pretty much vanilla ice cream, a few chocolate shavings and 3 pieces of peanut butter cup. When you drive 25 mins to get this. Very disappointing. No wonder as soon as I got to the window , it was done

I decided to give them another try after a couple months, thinking maybe the burger would be better this time! I was wrong! I even asked if the burgers were grilled and was was told yes, but are clearly not flame grilled , they are nasty! And , they have no taste as well! The girl at the register was very unprofessional and to top it off, the 8.00 meal is now 8.49 plus tax for some of the worst food I've ever had! I won't be going back!
