It's a traditional bbq restaurant that serves other things like burgers and such. The portions were huge. I definitely got my money's worth. I got the pork bbq plate. I had enough bbq to feed 3 people. I got the Brunswick stew and baked beans. The bbq was chopped finely and was moist. It had a good taste to it. The sauces on the table complimented it well. Choice of vinegar or ketchup based sauces. The Brunswick stew was good. I probably wouldn't get the baked beans next time but they were okay. I would give this bbq restaurant a 4 out of 5.

First time visit.. seems like a lot of locals come here as it seemed everyone knows everyone here. When you walk in, you sit yourself. The inside is a bit dated but functional. Drinks come in styrofoam. The menu is one sheet, front and back. Mostly pork as the name of the restaurant suggests All interaction with staff was pleasant. The food was good too. One of the guys who busses tables was so fast and amazing . I wish the rest of America worked at speeds like his. Military gets a free drink with order here. (I got water instead, but know for next time. You pay at the cash register by the door. I'd come back to this restaurant when in the area again. I recommend it.

The decor is cute, but the staff is amazing. I’d come back just for the conversation. They are friendly and endearing and everything you’d expect for a little southern bbq spot. Not to mention the food (especially the Mac n cheese) is delicious. Banana pudding is also really good! (Because how are you going to a bbq without it?)

Enjoyed my lunch and the most popular pork plate. Glad I checked out the dessert menu, the chocolate eclair cake was the highlight of the meal.

Overpriced for priduct served; Brunswick stew was not seasoned as most quality stews are that I've had elsewhere. Far too spicy. It may seem minor, but crackers should be delivered WITH the meal, rather than a patron needing to flag someone down to get them later. Portion size of side dishes doesn't warrant the $3.50 price charged. When I left the table for a minute to pay the bill, my drink disappeared when the speedster prepping tables for the next guest decided that I had left product behind for disposal. An $8 or $9 elsewhere was $16 there. FYI. If you do go here, be aware of the combo plate that sells for $12 if you want a pork sandwich and two sides, but take note that a chicken sandwich is not an option for that combo. I rushed my order and learned of this option later by reviewing
