Da Meex Plate

Took a road trip to North Shore. We chose this spot based on the reviews and so glad we did!!! My sons and myself ordered a plate of each meat to try. Best meal we’ve had on the island! My favorite was the pork in lau lau (hope I’m conveying leaf correctly). Not only was the food made with love, the portions were large, and the owner was so kind and friendly. He joined us after our meal and shared some local Hawaiian history with us which was the best part. Thank you friend and God bless you, your family and your community. Mahalo.

No better place to get local Filipino and island favorites. Chef Jay cooks with live and brings his deep roots to the dishes he prepares. It’s not fast food but if you want authentic food with a local flair (and he doesn’t short you on serving sizes), you’ll definitely want to find your way to his food truck. Tucked in the back of Kahuku’s Food Truck park, you’ll find Da Meex Plate provides service and quality of food deserving of your time! Don’t miss out. And prepare to come back for more!

The Best Garlic Chicken on the North Shore!! My go to food truck for lunch and dinner. Not to mention the pork adobo, top notch. The juicy burgers are good for a quick bite when I'm on the go. Da meex plate is my go to every time I'm in the area. Mahalo Jay for the excellent service time.

Garlic Chicken and the fried fish is amazing. Owner is super cool.
