D' Lujo Grill

We recently tried D’Lujo Grill, a Venezuelan food truck recommended by family, and overall had a good experience. Their menu focuses on traditional dishes like carne en vara—a slow-cooked meat specialty from the Venezuelan plains—and cachapas, sweet corn pancakes filled with soft cheese. The highlight for us was definitely the cachapas—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and bursting with authentic flavor. However, I was a bit disappointed with the carne en vara, as the meat was overcooked, lacked tenderness, and missed the smoky, juicy profile typical of the dish. Prices were fair considering the quality and setting. If you’re looking to explore Venezuelan cuisine, I’d recommend stopping by for the cachapas.

I wish I was exaggerating when I say that I have never had such over cooked and inedible meat. My jaw still hurts a hour later after attempting to eat the “Tacos De Carne En Vara”. If this is acceptable for them to serve, then I can’t imagine they care about food safety as well. Save yourself from the frustration and disappointment, and go elsewhere.

First time trying this place after driving by and looking up tiktoks of it. Food is SOOOOO GOOOD and doesn’t disappoint! Owner was very nice and even showed us pictures/videos of every item on the menu and we would’ve everything if we could!! Be sure to order the Tequenos!!!
