Cōste Island Cusine

My wife and I just dined at Coste and we left feeling like it was just ok. We are huge foodies and rate restaurants on a 1/3 food, 1/3 atmosphere which includes cleanliness and 1/3 service. The food was really good but the service was below average, we waited 35 minutes for a bread basket. The aps and salads were served together, didn't have proper utensils and the service was generally not great. As for the atmosphere. It started really nice but by the end of our meal we were surrounded by 5 dirty tables as we sat in the middle of the dining room, not sure of the message but I felt like they may have wanted us to leave, it wasn't even 9 yet? Overall not a great experience and we won't be back, Harold's is so much better, it's not even close!

Googled “fine dining” to celebrate my wedding anniversary and unfortunately this was not it. This compares more to an Olive Garden vs a Ruth Chris. Upon entering with a reservation, we weren’t greeted in the best manner. However, our waitress Tracey was phenomenal. This has the potential to be a really swanky/upscale spot, however different lighting and relocating the live music to the main dining hall would help. The seared ahi tuna ap was delicious. I ordered the steak du jour and it came out resembling and tasting like a salisbury steak Hungry Man dinner. My wife’s dish was the yellow tail snapper and was less to be desired. Overall, this has really great potential and is located in a perfect spot. If you’re looking for a romantic fine dining experience, I wouldn’t recommend.

Wow! A hidden gem!! Great menu selection and the food presentation was incredible (with generous portions). Cocktails, including smoked drinks! 👍Service was first rate and the view of the Gulf...priceless. Surprisingly, prices are actually modest. I do suggest a reservation.

We had an amazing food experience at this elegant, upscale restaurant that offers great water views. Superb delicious food (salmon dish and braised short rib dinners) coupled with amazing entertainment and the most amazing server, Jennifer. Highly recommend if you are in the Fort Myers Beach area. Approximately 2 miles from Margaritaville. Don’t miss an opportunity to indulge in this Five Star Restaurant! Thank you, Jennifer for being such a wonderful waitress. Love always Kaylani 🤣❤️😉

We were here last weekend with my in-laws and had such a wonderful experience from start to finish. Our server, Jen, was absolutely amazing, and the entire staff was so kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Most of us ordered the grouper special — a curry sauce with fried rice balls — and wow… it was seriously the best grouper dish I’ve ever had (and that’s saying a lot since I live in Florida!). The chef is incredibly creative. And don’t even get me started on the chocolate molten lava cake 🤤 — unreal. To top it all off, I accidentally grabbed just my jacket when we were leaving and left my purse behind, and one of the staff members actually brought it out to the front for me and we got it just in the nick of time.
