GREAT FOOD - for your dog. The man who took the order was extremely friendly however the burger was ice cold not even my children ate it. What a disappointment - what a letdown. The place didn’t look busy… bread stale

Usually pretty good but today I got the fried walleye sandwich and the fish still had the skin on!! Def not how it was last year. Took off as much as I could, which meant also losing all the coating. Pretty disappointing considering how expensive the sandwich is. If this is how they're going to be served, guess I'll stick with the cod. Slaw was cold and tasty at least and service was great as always.

They were open later than I expected as a highway traveler late at night. It was about 10:30 pm iirc and crowded. My food order came out hot and fresh without much wait. I was impressed. I asked for extra tarter sauce on both buns on my cod fish sandwich but didn't get it. Otherwise it was a perfect visit.

We always have a great experience but this last trip was even better because John Laskowski himself was walking around clearing trays of food and came by our table to bring us an autographed magazine cover of himself! What an awesome guy! Great food, great people!
