Los Potrillos Restaurant

Today was our first visit and we are happy we did. I enjoyed the Havana smoked pork sandwich. The pork was tender and flavorful, and the bread and toppings were fresh. The sandwich was delicious on it's own, but the dipping sauce brought all the components together and made the sandwich even better. Of course I had a Mexican Coke to wash it all down. My wife enjoyed a chicken tortilla, and my son enjoyed the Voodoo chicken. We all left happy.

I visited Bloomington from Louisville with my man for my birthday and we ended up deciding on Los Potrillos based on reviews. I must say BLOOMINGTON Y'ALL BETTER NOT SLEEP ON THIS RESTAURANT. I can tell it's family owned, every single thing made with love and care. The freaking salsa is insane on its own, I loved the texture and the spices. They were perfect for me. My boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed his Burrito California. I had the Pollo Loco and mmmmmmmmmy god. So perfect. I also tried the tamale, perfect flavor. Tres Leches was delicious! We were served, and fed with love. Thank you for the experience!

We dined outside on a beautiful fall day. Our server was kind & attentive. The food was amazing! We devoured smoked brisket tacos with some tomatillo salsa and fresh jalapenos. The steak/chorizo torta was very filling with fresh bread. Nice to have a delicious, classy but traditional new Mexican spot. We'll be back when we have room for the churros!

The food here is always amazing! Great fresh guacamole, good chimichangas, tacos, and nachos. The Los Potrillos Burger is amazing. The corn meal fried catfish is delicious.

Everything we tried to far has been delicious! This has definitely become our go to Mexican restaurant for us.
