Half Bottle Bistro

I would consider this one of Bloomington’s top lunch destinations. I found myself looking for a place to take my boss to lunch. Not too upscale but not too casual.. this was it. Just the right amount of elegance without being way overpriced and outrageous. The wait staff was excellent. They made great menu recommendations and were top notch. Very modern and newly developed area. Just far enough outside of the main strip of town to make it feel like a destination. I will for sure be back to try more of the menu.

A very bright atmosphere. It seemed pretty hard to hear inside when filled to capacity, so we sat outside. Our server was very pleasant. We had the old fashioned and the lemon drop cocktail. They were fantastic. One dish brought together smokey, sweet and spicy. I ordered the French dip. Both were Amazing hot sandwiches. Although I would like to try other dishes in the future, I would definitely have either dish again. It os really awesome that they partner with Brightside cafe to offee gluten-free vread substitutes with every sandwich.

I enjoyed my experience at Half Bottle bistro. We got a table outside. I was pleasantly surprised to see oysters on the menu. I liked the wine I ordered as well (pino grigio, don't remember the label). Overall a great place to meet and share plates.

I wish they had a few lighter dishes. But the food is insanely good! Great atmosphere too. If you’d like to feel like you’re away from crowded Kirkwood, this place is great.

Wonderful place to eat on a good-weathered day. We sat out in the outdoor covered seating area which was perfect. The inside can become a bit crowded and loud when at capacity. The drink selections were appropriate, but of course, we came for the oysters. I would come again on their half priced day as the oysters were good but not the best we've had elsewhere. This is one of few places in Bloomington that serve oysters and would still recommend anyone to come try.
