County Seat Restaurant & Gathering Place

We arrived on the later side of breakfast. Wasn't too busy, and was seated right away. They did have a buffet, however at the time that we arrived we elected to order something from the menu. The offering variety was decent, some of the dishes felt a little over priced but not by much. Order the country breakfast with scrambled eggs. The food is what you would find if you cooked at home. Scrambled eggs for firm, bacon was crisp. No real bells and whistles here, just good food. There was some neet decor, interesting paintings and even had a bar that you can sit at if you were alone. Well worth the trip.

We will definitely be back! Great outdoor seating options. The food was excellent. Had the crab cake sandwich with fries, and the cold plate. Service was slightly slow and had to wait a while for condiments and refills. Other than that, it’s a great spot and slower pace.

I had dinner there last night. Pulled pork sandwich with macaroni salad. Peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream. All great. Waitress was also. I enjoyed chatting with her. I had the breakfast buffet the next morning. Also great and another great waitress. As she said. I'll be back.

There's a reason this restaurant has been here for 30 years. They provide consistent quality and good value. We were quickly seated and served with our drinks. Our food was served hot and ready to eat. Our meals were delicious.

My husband and I go here often. Especially on Sundays. The people are friendly and the food is great. Everyone is friendly. Like going to Grandma's house for a good country homemade meal. Nobody beats their fried chicken and green beans!
