Countryside Cafe

Where do I begin? The food was amazing, I mean, so good, I thought my grandmother was in the back cooking. My family and I have been trying to get to Countryside Cafe for over 6 years, and it's not because we couldn't, it's been so busy with hungry people. I usually have Mondays off, and you're closed, which I understand, as Jamie's and family are important. My wife had the fried chicken filet, our son had the haddock, and I had the chicken livers, my favorite, with collard greens and fried okra. So good, I mean everyone was fantastic. Our drinks were never empty, and everyone was so polite and nice. We will be back to thank you for this great place and amazing food. Almost forgot the pulled pork tacos as the appetizer it is ammmaaaaazzzziiiinnngg.

Normally, they’re pretty busy this time of night on a Saturday but we got here right at 6 o’clock and we were able to get right into a table. They’re fairly slow right now. I had the chicken and dressing special and my wife had the pulled roast special. The meat was a little tough for her because she’s real sensitive on what she chews but I found it to be about normal. She ended up also ordering the chicken and dressing.. sides, mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, cream, spinach, squash, casserole, and collards. Didn’t take pictures this time, Sorry, but the food is great. It’s always great. Good home cooking. Service was great. Waiters are very kind, Quick and helpful. We keep coming back cause it keeps on being a good experience and not too expensive either spend about $20 a person with drin

I was trying out a LOT of things in order to bring family when they visit. It's a meat and 3 but I ordered 2 extra veggies to try. Hand breaded chicken fingers, squash casserole, hashbrown casserole, deviled eggs, baked mac n cheese, fried okra, roll and sweet tea. 😋 It was great. Some of it reminded of family dinners. I would recommend and will go back to try other things.

First time visitor with plans to come back often. The food was very fresh and tasty. Came on a very busy Friday night and only waited 15 minutes. Great teamwork from the staff.

Wonderful experience. Good food. Extensive menu. A lot of good side dishes. We had the squash casserole, slaw, potato salad, deviled eggs and mash potatoes w/brown gravy. I had the tenders and she had the chicken and dressing. The portions are satisfying. We had a delightful time and had a fantastic dining experience. Thank you Countryside Cafe!
